Get Out of Your Head: Stopping The Spiral of Toxic Thoughts by Jennie Allen
This book teaches readers how to break negative thought patterns and take control of their minds through faith and biblical principles, specifically drawing from the book of Philippians. Participants are encouraged to purchase the book online.
Core Themes in the Book:
- The Thought Battle: Identifies the mind as the primary battleground for spiritual and emotional health.
- Common Lies: Examines prevalent destructive thoughts like feeling worthless, helpless or unlovable.
- Taking Thoughts Captive: The Apostle Paul's teachings are used to show how to interuppt toxic mental spirals and submit to the mind of Christ.
Please call the church office if you're interested in attending or if you'd prefer an evening study. 518-371-6023
