– Bruce Johnson
In
a unanimous vote on Oct. 12, 2003 the congregation of CPCBC, called Rev.
R. Bruce Johnson, as permanent pastor, beginning November 1, 2003.
Pastor Bruce is a seasoned pastor with extensive work in American
Baptist Churches. Most recently he served as consultant for
World Mission Support for the American Baptist Churches of
New Jersey. He brings to the position a love for Jesus Christ
and His work here and around the world.
Pastor Bruce and his wife Deb
live in Clifton Park with their two sons.

Director–
Debbie Johnson
Debbie is interim
choir director. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Music Education from Eastern University. She has experience
playing violin with the Radnor Symphony Orchestra and with a worship
praise team, and singing with the Christian Artist Singers, the
Susquehanna Valley Chorale and local church choirs, as well as
teaching music privately and in public school. Currently, she works
in the pre-school at CPCBC and teaches music privately. She and her
husband, Bruce, live in Clifton Park, and have two
grown sons.
Organist – Norma
McFarland
As organist,
Norma plays for the Sunday morning worship service and accompanies
the choir and other special music. She has a Bachelor of Science
degree in Music Education from Bob Jones University. While living
in Ohio she taught in the public school system and was organist in
her church. She became organist at Clifton Park Center Baptist
Church in 1984. Norma
and her husband, Bob, live in Ballston Lake.
CPCB Preschool
Director –
Judy Kaiser
Judy Kaiser and her husband live in Clifton Park with their three
daughters. She graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a
Special Education Bachelors degree and an Early Childhood/Elementary
Masters degree. Judy is currently the Vice President of the Capital
District Association for the Education of Young Children(CDAEYC).
She is also a certified trainer for the Northeastern Girl Scouts of
NY. Judy says "I positively enjoy teaching young children and
teaching them about the love of God."
